Re: Professional Editors?
It would be interesting to see how this plays. Most of our postings start out with: "I'm a newbie and..." Not someone to trust with a paying editorial gig. All they want to do is make it through cutting a church service or recording their guitar. The rest of us who do do this sort of thing...

Re: Little Trouble
In Audacity 1.3.12, it's Edit > Preferences > Recording > Play tracks while recording new ones [X]. You might want to upgrade. Which Mac do you have and which OS? You shouldn't need the USB thingy at all. Most Macs still alive have a nice Stereo Line-In (two black arrows and a circle) and a headphone jack. Re: GRAVELY disappointed with Audicity !!!!!!!!!
There's two problems. You probably should not have posted at the bottom of somebody else's post. You will get lost down here.
I'm a Mac elf primarily. My last wholly owned Windows machine was Win2K. Still running, by the way. If you have a problem with Windows 2000, I'm your man.

Re: guitar and amp issues?

Audacity 1.3 has the ability to neutralize some of the delays. Exactly which ones are you referring to? Audaci...
