Re: Zoom recording omits local microphone
One way I do it is with a stand-alone sound recorder. I have a Zoom H4 and a Zoom H1a. I had zero trouble fighting with the computer setups, configurations, and adjustments because there was no computer. https://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/ZoomH4Recorder-500T.jpg The other way is with multiple c...

Re: Extracting a track from 2 tracks
Are they MP3? MP3 changes around and deletes some tones and sounds to get their convenient small files. So even though the backing track on the two songs seems to be the same, it's not and doesn't lend itself to mixing and cancellation tricks.I have two tracks

Re: Using Audacity to record a Twitch Stream
Gee whiz, this stuff should be easy, but for me it is so over my head. It's not easy. Computers are not supposed to be doing any of these tricks. They only have two natural pathways. Record from a microphone or other interface, and play to speakers or headphones from a music player or internet. Tha...

Re: Using Audacity to record a Twitch Stream
There are some possibilities of that not working right. Post back if the show volume doesn't show a marked improvement after Amplify.

Re: Using Audacity to record a Twitch Stream
Audacity will record what is being played through my laptop computer speakers. It will only do it easily on some machines and some settings. There is an instruction panel for this. https://manual.audacityteam.org/man/tutorial_recording_audio_playing_on_the_computer.html the broadcast on Twitch.com ...

Re: My voice is recording but not using a mic
Even though the clip light is flickering on the audio interface box Hopefully not the CLIP light. That's to signify audio damage. You should get the SIG light while you're performing. Do you record internet music or other content? Do you use Skype, Zoom or other communications, chat, or conferencin...

Re: Ultrasonic Recording
Why is someone trying to build a microphone from parts in the 21st Century. Why is anyone still soldering in the 21st century?
I think I left my skycar double parked.

Re: Microphone only works sometimes
No one has ever done a video on how to record tracks separately I can explain that one. Videos are a lot of detailed, time consuming, skillset-intensive work. Just when you think you're finished and you are dusting off your hands and going to make tea, the program you are illustrating changes and y...

Re: ACX-Check
Please note all that analysis and detection and measurement is everything either of us can do without a human. No more Human Quality Control to detect vocal damage, excessive sibilance, and theatrical errors until you submit the whole book. there were changes in volume throughout which I did attempt...
