But, yes. There's not much hope. I did the analysis and the characteristics of a human voice, pitch, timbre, overtones are almost exactly the characteristics of the buzz and crackle.

Traditionally, that's done with QuickTime Player. Open the file in QT and Command-I to get the INFO panel. However, QT7 doesn't understand FLAC.
