Sorry. Missed one. If you're on a MacBook Pro and you don't know about the Control-Click thing, you would open it like this:

Desktop > Select the file > File > Open With > Audacity 1.3.13.

unrecognised file type, error line 6 ? That's very different. Open up your AUP file and read it. It's pointing to a bad file or there's something else wrong with your process. You may have no show. Noise Removal will not get rid of traffic sounds since they change constantly over the course of the performance. Those are now performers in your show. You tested the guitar amplifier. Did you do the finger touch test instead of the amplifier? If the finger gives you loud volume buzz and hum, then the guitar amplifier may have a problem.
