The way Win7 arranges its devices means you have to do a few more dances to make a recording in Audacity. We wrote it up and now I'm looking for the work.

My error. It's the H2n that has Matrix, XY, Mid-Side, etc. http://www.samsontech.com/zoom/products/handheld-audio-recorders/h2n/ Mix a five second sample down to mono and Export as FLAC. Yes, but. The phonograph -- assuming a conventional turntable -- needs to connect to the PHONO-IN, not the AUX IN, TUNER-IN or TAPE-IN. The first thing users want to do is record YouTube and other music sources, and it's the last thing manufacturers and producers want.
