Re: Recording With Headphones In

and listen to what I'm recording using headphones At the same time? Headphones usually can't be plugged into the computer. You can plug them into anything else that supplies real time monitoring. Re: 2.4.2 Startup Failure on MacOS 10.13.6

You can do the WiFi with the fan symbol in the upper bar. Click > Turn WiFi Off. If you have a wired network, that's a little more involved in 10.13.6 (or you could just pull the wire). Apple (upper left) > System Preferences > Network > Log In > Configure IPv4 > Off > Apply. Screen Shot 2020-07-08 ...

Did you get your installer from here?

https://www.audacityteam.org/download/mac/

That sends you to Fosshub who is the actual host.

Do you still have your Disk Image?

Re: 2.4.2 Startup Failure on MacOS 10.13.6

Re: Normalize effect and Loudness normalizer effect: Difference?

You can submit a short voice test to the forum... https://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/TestClip/Record_A_Clip.html ...and you can submit a different one to ACX, too, but it may take them weeks to get back to you. They're running in overload and they said so in their posted instructions. You can use A...

Re: Normalize effect and Loudness normalizer effect: Difference?

Many microphones come out of the box making noises of their own and some of those are pitched down in the earthquake/thunder range. That...

Re: Time Shift macro?

I can do it manually. The audio is exactly the same.
Thanks. Yes. This question is normally posted by someone who has two downloaded MP3s and wants to split instruments or vocals through cancellation.
