You should follow the instructions provided in the other postings. This isn't the first time people have had troubles doing this task. The instructions can produce new sound devices and pathways on your machine and the errors may go away.

There is a tiny bit of damage when Audacity converts from 32-float to 16-bit when you export for the music CD. Another possibility is degenerative feedback from recording Stereo Mix or What U Hear. That opens up multiple sound pathways and while it makes recording from the internet really nice, it can destroy home recording.
