Try resetting Audacity Preferences to 44100, 16-bit (instead of 32) and try both stereo and mono.
If you got it that far, then it should be possible to get a recording.
We're disappointed you posted in a forum that we can't tell anything about you. Which Windows? Details are good.

Re: Removal of vocals
The original version of this tool was called "Center Pan Removal," because that's exactly what it did. Anything in the center goes. After considerable pressure, it was renamed Vocal Removal and it's been fooling people ever since. By the way, you don't get stereo music at the end, You get ...

Re: Removal of vocals
What if I convert it to another medium? Say WAV? You would be converting the musical damage right along with the song. You need to find a perfect, WAV version of the song that you didn't download from a ratty music service and then the song has to conform to all the other rules. It has to be terrif...

Re: Removal of vocals
Yes, and if you tried his technique on that exact same song, you would be successful, too. The problem is it's not a universal tool. As above, it depends a great deal on the original song and most songs don't make it. Internet Downloads are a real problems because heavy compression necessary for int...

Re: Double Voice!
You can duplicate your voice track with Control-D or Command-D. Then use the Time Shift Tool (sideways black arrows) to push one track later than the other and Effect > Amplify to change the loudness. You can also use the Envelope Tool (two white arrows and bent blue line) to change the volume. You ...

Re: tape recording
Theory has it you plug the player into your computer's USB port (not a USB hub), then start Audacity and look for the device in Audacity's drop-down input menu system. Right-click the red record meters > Start Monitoring and play a tape. The sound meters should bounce in time to the music. There's n...

Re: how do I play miked drum along with music file
It is. In great detail. However. Unless you're really sailing with the wind, the headphone sound is going to be one computer later than your live performance. It's echoy. This generally drives people nuts, but it may work for you. Yes, the Overdubbing feature works perfectly with exactly correct liv...

Re: Unable to Export into wav file
Did you intentionally call it MyMusic.wav in the export window? What happens if you just call it MyMusic and let Audacity add the .wav extension? You are exporting to "WAV (Microsoft) 16-bit PCM, right?" What's the possibility you called it MyMusic. wav by accident? Extra space? Extra spac...

Re: Flat lining when exporting from audacity project
the MP3s do not export correctly and flatlines just before 1:30. It's not just flat-lining. It's smashing to all negative values. In effect, it's not just going silent, it's making up its own "audio" consisting of negative battery voltage. That's what got our attention. So you only get th...

Re: Exporting multiple files to .wav
You have an Audacity Project which consists of an aup project manager file and a _data folder with the actual music in it in chopped up form. They tend to have the same name. MyMusic.aup, MyMusic_data.
You need both to play your show. Aup is not a sound file.
