That's as close as you got to telling us what the show is. What, exactly, are you recording? BBC4? NPR-OnLine? Is that your band recorded in the garage? You're really good if it is.

You can get clear sound by backing up from the microphone a little. Very nasty things happen when you get too close to a microphone, especially if it's a directional microphone. You're doing better than I am. I couldn't get 1.2 to run at all on Snow Leopard. Audacity 1.2 can be seriously unstable on modern operating systems. So unstable, it might not be able to manage the drive/file system. There are too many patches and updates between 1.2 and 1.3/2.0 to run down the list....

I was hoping not to have to use that. It wears out after a while and it leaves that ozone haze after.
