Re: no sound when I copy wav to itunes
If the green sound meter(s) are bouncing, then the computer is playing the music, but maybe just to the wrong place. If you have a USB sound device connected you might try disconnecting it and restarting Audacity. Close Skype. Also, you can go into Apple > System Preferences > Hardware > Sound > Out...

I scrambled your email address. You should not post hot email addresses on the forum. The spam load will kill you. remove the portion of the spectrum where the voices are placed That's the part you can't do. Voices are broad-band as are most instruments. This is one single piano note. http://kozco.c...

Re: Mic signal low & distorted w/M-Audio Mic & Interface
When you get past that setup, you may find that live microphones are very much lower volume than carefully produced music. Plug the USB services in and then start Audacity. Then look at the Audacity Device Toolbar and select the M-Audio. It will probably say "USB Adio Device" or something like that. It may not say anything about M-Audio.

Re: Vocals needed for this song ASAP!
It seemed to work perfectly for me. I'm in Audacity 1.3.13 and I captured the music you indicated. I applied Vocal Isolation with 20 2000 settings and everything else default. The voice obediently vanished. Just so I understand, I extracted the vocal and threw it away. Did you want to save the vocal...

Re: Windows 7 heartbeat
That would be feedback. Somehow, the input and output sections of the sound system are getting into each other. While it's doing this, do the red recording and green playback meters pulse together? Do you like to record internet audio/music/shows? What specifically are you trying to record when you ...

Re: Request: Zooming for Frequency Analyzis
You can simulate increased accuracy with the Window Feature. As you drag the analyze window bigger and bigger, the accuracy of the display goes up. You're not limited to the size of your screen. You can push the display partially off the screen and then drag it bigger again, multiple times. With the...
