Once Audacity gives you a sound file, you must put that file into a Music CD Authoring Program, such as iTunes or the newer Windows Media. Music CD is a special music format on the disk and not just a collection of files like a hard drive. Koz

Lame doesn't "do" anything. It loads instructions behind the curtains so Audacity knows how to make MP3 files the next time it opens. Did you restart Audacity?

File > Export > MP3 > Filename > Save

No luck. If the plugin tries to launch fancy graphics right at the beginning, it's not going to load in Audacity. Audacity doesn't support VST graphics.

You used to need "VST Bridge" software to get Audacity to recognize VST plugins. Maybe that's still true.

Try exporting the music again, but don't put punctuation marks or dates in the filename. Today is not 3/14/02. It's 201210314. Computers hate slashmarks in filenames. Stay away from other punctuation marks, too. See if that helps.
