Re: Translation voice removal

Vocal removal only works on a stereo show with different sounds on left and right. This is a mono show with the same sound on left and right. If you watch the bouncing green sound meter, the two are the same.

Re: Removing vocals! HELP PLS!

Effects will be gray if you're in Pause instead of Stop.

However, you don't need to go through all that. We packaged all those steps in Effect > Vocal Removal.

Don't fall in love with the idea, though. Most songs don't let you take the vocals out.

Re: How to increase audio volume of selection by 40% ?

Effect > Amplify > 5dB (top number). Sound doesn't work very well in percent. You would think that would almost double the volume of the work, but the increase will be almost not noticeable. The blue waves on the timeline are in percent because it's easy to edit like that. Notice the bouncing color ...

Re: BSOD with Audacity 2

No. Not recently. Audacity uses a lot of computer hardware memory (RAM). It's not unusual for Audacity to be the only program you own that does that. If you have a bad stick of RAM way up in high memory and the computer tries to use it, it could crash your computer. Computers used to take forever to...
