Re: Behringer UFO-202 - did I get Bad one, or is it my turn
Input and Output Level Meters are redlined even with the Input and Output Volumes adjusted very low. That may be a danger sign right there. The natural course of events has only the red recording meters operating. If your (Windows) machine is also set to record internet audio, then you could be try...

Re: Improving the Sound Recording of Webinar Audio
We didn't get attached sound. Is there a web address where we can listen? You can't attach a very big file to the forum -- maybe up to five seconds.

Re: Audacity crashes everytime I try to open a previous proj
Does it fail to open if you close Audacity and double-click the aup file, or alternately, Right-Click > Open With > Audacity. An hour long show isn't that big a deal (unless you have a really tight-for-space machine). I do that regularly at home. Just to cover all the regular bases: You didn't try t...

Re: Multiple autosave files
One shouldn't depend on Auto Save to do anything useful. It doesn't do what most people think it does and it was never a good, stable, desirable product. The real request is to add the auto-save to Audacity that everybody wants. Your computer goes up in a ball of digital flames and after you mop up ...

Re: Double Tracking Vocals
You can try double tracking.
Duplicate the tracks(s)..
Edit > Duplicate and use the Time Shift Tool (sideways black arrows) to shift one slightly later than the other. Listen as you go. There's another tool to do that and it was mentioned recently... Looking.

Re: 36 Sec clip with mic distortion - Can anything be done?
This is where you need to have headphones so you can hear that kind of distortion in time to correct it right away instead of waiting for the end of an hour show. Pay attention to the recording meters, too. Note the song at the end of that clip is just slightly lower in volume and it's perfectly cle...

Re: I accidentally recorded 4 hours. How do I delete most of
Has the "Date Rollover Feature" been fixed? the audacity timer is famous for rolling the date to the next day when you make a mistake entering the hours. When you correct the hours entry, the date would not roll back turning your one hour recording into 25 hours. Go ahead. Ask me how I kno...

Re: Recording directly from keyboard via USB
You probably have a Windows Laptop and so you would need a Behringer UCA-202 and an adapter cable plus maybe a "Y" cable. It's this... http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/UCA202.jpg ...with the keyboard in place of the cassette player. Almost all keyboards have headphone jacks, so you would...

Nope. I plugged in my Blue Snowball USB microphone and the choices are Mono and Mono. Koz
