Re: 4 headsets and a mixer
Don't let me roll over you. We're going to need play by plays. We collect stories and data to benefit other posters. If you have work that doesn't fit on the forum or your blog, I can host it on my web site. We still point to a simple posting by one of the elves, bgravato, who wanted to know a good ...

Re: lamelib file not recognised in 2.01
And you are running Audacity from the program, right, not from within the dmg file?

Re: lamelib file not recognised in 2.01
This is how I got it to work last time. It does work, it just doesn't always work where Audacity wants to put it.

Re: background noise still loud in TIME SENSITIVE video proj
The grownups call it "room tone." What does the room sound like before you start performing. If the room tone is complex, dogs barking, TV running, traffic going by, you may have no show. You will probably never separate the voices from the trash. If it's straight air conditioning, it's ve...

Re: notched files are not maintained when exporting to deskt
Just to be clear, you create the notch and apply it and it seems to work. You open up Analyze > Plot Spectrum with a very high size and you can see the notch working in the show. Export the work as wav, reimport into a fresh Audacity and Analyze > Plot Spectrum again and there's no sign of the effec...

Re: Distortion at low amplitude from vinyl LP recording
While the Audacity AUP format is lovely, it doesn't transfer well. You'll need to send a good quality MP3 or a WAV file.

Re: silent mp3 export
OK, so you still have these two:
Do the recordings play in Audacity before you export?
If you import the MP3s back into Audacity, do they play?

The way I understand this, it's the day the developer cats manage to march in the same direction at the same time.
