My cellphone has a 3.5mm connection, not 2.5. I know you can get adapters, but some of them are not simple stereo connectors.
Never mind. The box comes with one of each.

Re: 4 headsets and a mixer
The "Daptor 2" seems to be pretty much the exact thing you need to plug the mixer into the cellphone. They did get my attention with this note: ? Can I send and receive audio at the same time? ! Yes, but be aware that on most phones, whatever audio you send into the phone will come back mi...

Can you hear your performance in the Fast Track headphone connection?
Does the Fast Track show up in Windows Preferences? Is it selected as a recording device?

You're talking about a sophisticated batch processor. Very few people use those words and Audacity Chains in the same sentence. Particularly when you get into metadata management, you're into rare company. We can wait for the other elves, but I'm going with no.

Re: 4 headsets and a mixer
My favorite mini-mixer has a service called Effects Send. You can select any of the inputs and send the sound out to an effects generator, echo generator, or other sound processor. You can do this completely independently of the show mix. That's the sound that would go to the cellphone for enjoyment...

Recording Stereo Line-In through the Mono Mic jack is terrible, yes. If you plug in a microphone, it probably works OK.recording through the mic jack is terrible.
Money-based solutions are available for all those problems.

Re: Noise/distortion o track 2.
We have to be able to build your job in our heads and there isn't quite enough to do that. What's on track 2? Are you doing overdubbing/sound-on-sound? How do you have your game connected to your computer and what kind of computer is it? What kind of distortion? Post a little bit of track 1 and then...

Re: Recording/BT/guitar/Audacity/ M-Audio Pro
We wrote a thing on overdubbing/multitrack. One of the clear ideas right at the top is the ability to make a straight, uncomplicated, vanilla recording before you start throwing around the oddball special settings for multitrack. They just cloud the issue. http://manual.audacityteam.org/help/manual/...

Re: How to create more than one track
Older CD players will not play music burned into a CD-RW. You are intentionally restricting the number of people who can hear your work. Also, correct me, but it takes forever to scramble the old music and put new on. If you have one player that's OK with it, you can keep burning and trying until yo...
