From fuzzy memory, isn't that the one that requires ASIO software that Audacity doesn't have? See if you can find Windows drivers for it if it won't mount any other way. Koz

The built-in microphone on a Mac is usually not dreadful. You can use that with Audacity and even mix in music and effects later without Spreaker. I've used the built-in mic for temporary sound tracks for video production. Koz

Audacity > Preferences > Devices > Recording > Channels. In general, you should get Left as a mono show. It just ignores Right.
