Effect > Loudness Normalization > RMS. Loudness Normalization has an additional setting for LUFS. That's getting popular because it takes your ear sensitivity into account whereas RMS doesn't. Dog whistles, middle C on the piano and earthquakes can all have the same RMS value, even though only one o...

Re: Audcity-like forum for video editing
It's a luck thing. A bunch of talents happen to get together on the same forum and it takes off. I was a member of the Los Angeles Final Cut Pro User Group. I may still have a login over there. And no, it doesn't make a word no matter how you cut it. It was a world-class forum with multi-time zone s...

Re: How do I fix gravelly/bumpy audio?
You need to post something everybody night recognize. We can't do anything with 35 seconds of noises followed by 2 minutes of silence.
Also, post a job. Why are you doing this?

Re: Strange popping sound with a stranger solution
Oh. One more. Your Zoom will look like a drive to the Mac, so you will need to Eject it when you get done and need to disconnect the cable.
I know transferring the files works. That's how I use my Zoom.

Re: Strange popping sound with a stranger solution
