Re: Window XP/Lenovo Laptop

It appears to be a USB sound device, so you should plug an A to B USB cable (square to flat) between the T1 and your computer. Next, the computer has to "know' what the T1 is and that may require software drivers or other programs that may have come on the disk with the unit. Make sure Windows ...

Re: Latency Test using Zoom H4 as Interface

This trick usually only works with a USB device and the device has to have an internal mixer for combining the local microphone signal and the reverse pathway USB signal from Audacity. The three at the top of this tutorial do that. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tutorial_recording_multi_track_...

Re: ***Lag after switching sample rate?***

You do sample rate changes with the box at the bottom left of the Audacity Window. Audacity has to keep track of everything you do in order perform UNDO. It has to keep track of the 96 and the 44.1. It sounds like your machine isn't up to the job. How long is the show(s)? How full is the hard drive?...

Re: volume level

It kinda doesn't work like that. You have to watch the Red recording meters and get comfortably high without any of the jiggling ever going all the way up. This will change with everything: Your speaking voice, the condition of the microphone, the computer, the room acoustics, etc. etc. Audacity wak...

Re: level problems when exporting

AUP you posted isn't a sound file. It's an Audacity Project manager. It's text. Anyway, if you Exported a WAV file at 44100, 16-bit, Stereo, it should sound identical to the original. If you Exported as a MP3, you might have problems, but not WAV. The music on a CD is WAV 44100, 16-bit Stereo. The s...

Re: Waveform missing upon import

tried to generate tones import and and record new audo within one of these failed projects, and any audio created seems to vanish immediately. I want to address this for a second. When you record something, the blue wave appear as you're recording and then vanish when you press stop? How about pres...
