Probably not. I don't think an Audacity that old is supported under Lion or Mt. Lion. It may be unstable or not manage its files properly.

Re: Help
Most USB devices like this one announce themselves as bi-directional devices. When Windows encounters one of these, it naturally assumes it has to record from, and play to the device. It's only half right.

If the interface is multi-channel, you may be required to use the CUBase software. Audacity doesn't directly support ASIO software for multi-channel sound.

Re: Help me! I bought a behringer UCG102 and i cant use it
Try opening up Audacity Preferences and set it to 44100, 16-bit (not 32) Stereo. Devices and Quality. Try a capture with the new settings.

What kind of microphones? In detail. For computer microphones, I'd say not in any useful way. Not only does the sound have to go from the microphone down to the computer, but the 5v battery has to go from the computer back up. That's the one that will kill you. Re: New Membe
Also, you can make sure you plug any devices in well before you launch Audacity. If you do that out of order, then you get to search for it using those tools.

Re: I can not "hear" Audacity files
Make sure Audacity is trying to play the music to your headphones or speakers instead of anywhere else. Use the Audacity Device Toolbar and pull down a list of devices. On a Mac, choose Built-In Speakers or Built-In Headphones. On Windows it's up to you. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/device_t...

Re: Audacity cannot find project data folder
The AUP file is the project manager. It's a text file that tells Audacity what to do with all the stuff inside the _DATA folder. So they're different. The AUP file and the_DATA folder must be in the same location or folder for a show to open. could not load file Final Mix.aup How did you open the sh...
