Re: highlighting editing functions
Control-X is 'Remove Audio Cut'. Is that what you wanted? It doesn't arbitrarily run edit commands. Koz

Re: highlighting editing functions
Don't you have to select some audio for the edit commands to work? They work fine here. Koz

Re: White Noise / Static (Another one)
Yes, but there's three of them, not two. There is a trimmer at the top of the strip, the channel volume at the bottom of the strip, and the master to the right. All our mixers that have trimmers run at 3 O'Clock, channel volume about the same, and master mix slider 2/3 of the way up. If you have the...

Re: Working on multiple projects simultaneously
We use Audacity on all three platforms in a corporate, secure network environment. You can't edit on the network, but the network does not prevent any of the tools from working. Since Audacity does not speak multi-tasking and will not share play and record devices, chances of working two shows like ...

What happens to the first song?

Re: Help with recording radio
Some computers are openly hostile to recording streaming audio. Assuming you're on Windows. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tutorial_recording_audio_playing_on_the_computer.html Oh, and it's "Stereo-Mix." Mono Mix is an Audacity track tool. Somehow you have to get a "device"...

Re: Can't Record - Also "Error opening Sound Device"
I have the same problem and my clumsy workaround eas to take the signal from the Behringer headphone socket into the Line-In on the back of my computer. More than clumsy. This is the connection layout to get rid of live headphone latency. Other configurations need not apply. http://www.kozco.com/te...
