Re: Lame mp3 download page - Virus warning from McAfee
It's not always evil. Freshmen college roommate projects don't all grow up to be Facebook and Google. Some of them grow up to be spam rating agencies with everybody slapping each other on the back and high-fives all around how smoothly the algorithms run -- by themselves. Oh, wait. You mean there's ...

How are you looping it? You know you can't loop MP3's right? MP3 files follow television frame boundaries whether or not the rhythm works out.
There isn't enough. We need one more phrase at the end. The track ends before the rhythm pattern resolves.

Re: distortion recording voice
Static on recordings can be caused by sending your USB microphone or mixer through a USB hub. Audio connections need to be computer home runs. Past that we know nothing about your setup. What kind of microphone, which mixer, what is your connection type? Did you change physical computer, of just do ...

Yes, the bitrate of an uncompressed music file (which nobody ever calculates) is startlingly higher than any compressed work. Koz

Sometimes a web site or system will do something to get on a black list and [choose your deity] could post something and it would get flagged as Spam. This happened to our corporate system once. It was not pretty.

Re: iPod restarts when playing first secs of file - 2.0.2.
Are you filling up your iPod? They do have a fixed amount of memory. I don't know that I would use AIFF for transition to an iPod. Use one of the compression formats like iTunes Plus (256 KBPS Stereo). That's double the quality that Audacity uses for its good quality MP3 export. iTunes > Preferences...

You need to do something different. Music CDs, real ones, work by time, not filesize. You have to do whatever is necessary to make the show 78 minutes long. Full Stop.
Many cars and music players accept MP3 files. My sister's car will do that. My older truck will not.

As above, Audacity 1.2.5 is very old and can be profoundly unstable. It also sounds like you created a show by continuously saving new work on top of old using the same show name. A better way of working is save new work periodically as a new show: Tuesday2, Tuesday 3, Tuesday4. Also a periodic safe...

Re: Spinning wheel appears w/editing
You get the SBBOD when the computer takes more time for a task than it's expecting. Tiger is a very old machine and 2GB of memory is not a lot of memory for editing entertainment -- audio or video. Audacity tries to keep your show in memory for speed while you're editing, but if you have a million t...
