That's not a yes/no switch. Somebody can transcribe the speech into printed words and someone else will still recognize favorite words that the speaker uses. Also remember that "look and feel" of software products can put you in court. Getting The Travel Linguist to do it is far and away the best way out -- if they agree to it. Koz

Probably the quickest way is drag-select the portion you want to reduce and Effect > Amplify and change the top number to the reduction you want, say -3dB. The minus sign gives you a reduction. I can't describe what that sounds like in words, but you can UNDO and pick another number.
