Re: Any Help For A Lisp?
As a bit of a stretch, you're in the same boat as people who want us to make them into announcers (hasn't worked so far). Only you need management at the other end of the pitch scale. Koz

Re: Any Help For A Lisp?
Most of the tools are devoted to doing the opposite of what you need. They're used to help suppress harsh, sharp, unnatural S sound distortions and boosts in speech. Natural S sounds are precisely what you're missing. I can't think of any tool that would help. There's nothing remarkable for the soft...

Re: How to retrieve .aup data
Here's the case of one of my students. Since this is a learning experience... The student will now go back to all the original music and voice files and spend all night recreating the show for presentation in the morning. If there are no original files that's a good lesson. If you have been editing...

Make sure Snap To: isn't checked on the bottom of the main window and make sure Transport > Timer Record hasn't somehow been activated. Is the USB device going through a hub? Can you try a different USB connection on the same computer? Put Audacity in Monitor Mode (Right click on the red record mete...

Re: SACD format
Audacity can manage any of the formats that can be added through FFMpeg. That's the software add-on that contributes all the more exotic formats.

Re: Copy a Record Burn to CD
This has come up once or twice. The tutorial makes it look like a college level course, but that's only because it covers multiple different ways to do it.

Re: Guitar dirty sound
Please note that a tube amp fuzz guitar is a singular thing and very hard to duplicate in filters. Vacuum tubes overload in a very peculiar way -- the Jimmy Hendricks sound and people pay money to get that sound -- probably zero news to you.

We are pleased to read this. The normal post is from someone who created fuzz guitar unintentionally and wants us to clean it up.

Re: Taking out the background noises
The big kids do this with expensive shotgun microphones, a feed from "the house" (president of the United States) or actually putting a microphone in front of the speaker. I'm not aware of any other options. This one's a boom microphone being used in a movie. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity...
