Re: Equalizing or Normalizing even sound for wav
Music CDs do not carry metadata or song titles. They seem to because when you put a CD in the computer, the machine goes on-line and looks up the titles. If you put a fresh Music CD into a machine not connected to the internet, the song titles will be something like: song1, song2, song3.

Re: .aup files
Click and hold on one and drag to wherever the other is. Is this a new computer for you? Go (at the top of your desktop) > Home > Music (single click select the folder). (Top of the desktop) File > New Folder. Call it whatever you want. I use Home > Documents for everything because that's where seve...

No. The packaged filter doesn't do near enough damage. Koz

Re: Adding a kazoo effect
I think I make a much better mess than kazoo default does. I posted the original "clean" voice track. http://kozco.com/tech/clips/flightAttendant_voice.wav And the default kazoo Nyquist. http://kozco.com/tech/clips/kazooFilterVoice.wav Like I said, it's harder to mess up a human voice than...

Re: Kazoo effect
Since I'm still at work (1600h), I'll need to get home for testing so people don't give me funny looks. I mean more than normal funny looks. I found as I'm sure you did, that it's remarkably tough to trash a voice enough to achieve this goal. Preserve the swing and general intonation and eliminate e...

Re: Voice conversions
Probably not. We can't make you into an actor and acting is why people get paid for voice work. Even announcers/presenters are acting from a monolog script. No matter what we do with effects and filers, it's still going to sound like you messing around with filters and effects. The one exception mig...

Re: Kazoo effect
Did you copy this to the poster looking for this effect? I posted a "just OK" solution using existing tools.
They were right, this is a terrific way to strip away all the fluff and get straight to why announcers/presenters get paid and you don't.

When you record your show, do you get the bounding red sound meter and blue waves like this: http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/Audacity1_record.jpg Audacity provides tiny meters. Grab the right-hand edge and pull to the right to get bigger meters. If you don't get those two, then you didn't get a good ...

Re: Batch fade-ins & outs?
But it's still going to create additional sound damage. You're never going to get the same quality that went in at the same filesize.
