Re: Frame rate problem
You should be able to do a straight sampling rate conversion since the real time progression of the show is the same for video and audio. Ten seconds of time went by for both even though the capture may have been a little screwy. However. In the US, 30 isn't 30. It's television rate of 29.97003. And...

Re: Can you help me EQ/process my live MP3 recording?
And as in many messages back, these settings are going to change when you change the club or room and position and distance of the microphone. Knowing what each setting does is a big deal, yes. And I wonder how well we could do if the show wasn't in MP3. Each export bumps the quality down another no...

Re: Combining Analyze and Equalize
Yes. There are certainly shortcomings to this idea and I spent all of about a minute and a half thinking about it, but I'm tired of sketching the analyze on an envelope so I can apply corrections in the equalizer with some accuracy. "Let's see. There was a hump about 400Hz and it's about yo muc...

Re: Could anyone please help on a sound problem?
Soundblaster XFi. Did you build the machine? Did you load the manufacturer's sound drivers and software? I'd be tempted to remove everything and start over. Does the machine have built-in sound in the motherboard? One of the Windows elves will correct me, but pull the soundboard out, restart and th...

Re: Can't record in mono
Are you using a USB microphone? The stereo/mono thing is required to be set to match or the microphone will not work. Are you using half of a stereo system? The microphone will announce itself to the computer as stereo and it must match.

Re: "Missing Audio Data"
AUP is actually a file. It's a text file with all the instructions how to put your show back together from the stuff in the _DATA folder. Here's a simple one. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/aup1.jpg Please note that the name of the show (piano2split) is burned into the text (line 2). It's not option...

Re: Stereo Boost Filter
That link gives me a damaged, partially blank page.
Correct me, but there's no information of the existence of that page anywhere in the regular documentation. How did you know it was there?
Does this contain the long sought-after listing of all Steve's Plugins?

Re: Mixing records together
Yes. Each time you Import a song, it will stack up as a new track top to bottom. Use the Time Shift Tool (Sideways black arrows) to push each tune later until the beginnings and endings work out. Envelope tool (white arrows and bent blue line) to do note by note fades. The MUTE and SOLO buttons can ...
