Re: Can you help me EQ/process my live MP3 recording?
I'm happy if you're happy. I still can't tell why your original clip now sounds different here than it did earlier. Same clip. No changes. I hate it when it does this. All this stuff is based on high quality, stable equipment running in a predictable manner. I may grab your original clip [1] from Dr...

Re: Recording from cassette player- only get humming noise
If your headphones or earbuds work connected to the Walkman, then a transfer cable should work. I do this all the time with tape and disk machines and iPods. The only time it fails is if you have an entertainment device that has a "Tape-Out." Some of them have microphone level signals suit...

Was he tired of eating your homework? My sister has a cat that eats cardboard boxes. Literally. She turns them into dust.

If you don't have that selected, Audacity will spill the show out the bottom if it doesn't fit.. What happens if you copy the work from ...

Re: Could anyone please help on a sound problem?
Look at the back of the computer and see if you don't have more than one set of Blue, Green, and Pink connections, one on the soundcard and the other maybe on the cabinet or backplate. That's your clue that you have two sets of "soundcard" and you might be able to take the fancy one out an...

Re: Audicity Won't Launch
When you reinstalled, wasn't there a message asking you whether or not you want to do a "clean" install? An Audacity "plain install" preserves the preferences system so to help when you upgrade. This can cause serious problems if you have damaged Preferences. The damage migrates ...

Re: Large files
Audacity doesn't edit MP3. It pulls the show into itself in a very high quality internal format, edits it, and then makes a whole new MP3 at the end. The output MP3 can be any size you want with changes to the output setup panel, but please note that you can never get back to your original size with...

Re: Exportm ultiple not saving tracks
Please note that we frequently have to "make up" parts of your question to form a condition complete enough to comment on -- usually based on history or SWAG (scientific wild-ass guess). Sometimes that leads us straight into dense woods and we have to dig ourselves back out, so it if seems...
