Overload or clipping (removing the tips of the waves) is usually fatal. The Clip Fix software can sometimes recover one or two peaks, but if you have serious overload and distortion on multiple peaks, that may be the end of the show. Koz

You should be careful to get the right tool. Change Pitch does not change the length of the show but Change Speed does. Also, none of the tools work beyond one or two piano notes. In order to work right, chat/conference software has to take over the computer sound channels leaving no place to grab voice for a recording. Skype does it, too.
