Human voices are never even top to bottom. I am able to edit a favorite radio show very easily because one announcer's voice goes up more and the other announcer does down. I don't even have to listen for the edits. This is normal and it doesn't effect speakers. Speakers can be damaged if the middle...

I'm used to using the video and Photoshop version of this tool, so I know exactly what you want, but I don't think Audacity has anything even close.

See if you can get Corel to export a sound clip in WAV format. It should allow you to set two markers in the timeline (in and out) and go. Consult your instructions, each editor works a little different. Once you get your clip, Import it into Audacity and then, when you're done, Export a WAV from Au...

Although it does make us crazy when you're doing everything correctly and it doesn't work.....
One troubleshooting trick is to force it to get worse. What happens if you record a third track? Fourth?

You can go from perfect WAV files down to any other format, but once you have a compressed and damaged MP3, that's the end of the line. It will never get any better than that.
