That's what the Time Shift Tool does (two sideways black arrows). Shift song two so it starts after song one finishes. Repeat with three, four, etc.

similar to the sound wave That's what kills you. It's a simple arithmetic function to pick out two exact, wave for wave matches, but the real world never works like that. Any difference at all and it becomes a task to match meanings and inflections and other clues. Much more difficult. Both pieces ...

Re: Questions!
You are wearing headphones, right? You can't do serious recording with speakers in the room. You also can't be recording Stereo Mix. That will double record parts of your show and that will sound weird. The other thing that can make your show sound funny is Windows Enhanced Services. You should turn...

Re: No input jack on new iMAC
BOTH line level and/or Guitar/Mic level The unit doesn't say anything about Microphone level. Line Level and Guitar signals are close cousins of each other (the guitar is mono), but microphones are generally mono and very, very low level. You can't swap those easily. iRig does make a Mic-Pre, but a...

Re: Record Mic and Computer Sound Simultaneously
I think what's bothering me most about this is "Everybody Knows" you can't record Skype like this. We have multiple posts from people who tried and got anything but a good recording. That's what got my attention. "Wait, you did what?" We on the forum do have to watch the natural ...

Re: Record Mic and Computer Sound Simultaneously
I am going to be the only person with a mic on my end. The design center is that once a week podcast with two hosts. You could add a second host just by adding a mic, cables and maybe a headphone splitter. Gigabyte I don't know why I thought you were using a store-bought laptop. You built your own ...

Re: Record Mic and Computer Sound Simultaneously
I tried to remedy this by hooking the PC up to an actual channel of the mixer....while this works, it doesn't sound as good and I get feedback if I turn it up very high. I don't think those inputs were made for a PC lol. Oh, they were made to record a PC all right. But they weren't made to record a...

Effect > Vocal Removal can do it if it's possible. Most songs fail, so you might start looking for Karaoke versions of your song for purchase. Koz

When you start critical editing like this, the Zoom tools become very important. Drag-Select and Control-E to zoom into the selection. Control-3 zooms out a little bit and Control-F zooms out full. I live in those three zoom levels.
