I don't know and it's scary when Google doesn't appear to, either. The obvious one is to distribute on Music CDs. CD players have all those features -- except chapter and show labels.
Write back if you figure it out.

Re: Recording voice for 2-day workshop
Before I scare you to death, if you're the only person likely to listen to these recordings, you can do whatever you want. I always approach shows with the idea that they're going to go to an audience of millions. Because many of them do. Koz

Re: Recording voice for 2-day workshop
Live recording is a lot more difficult than people think. There was a posting right before yours where somebody asked what settings in Audacity should be made to eliminate background noise. Nice try. You have to put the microphone in the right place. Full Stop. You usually can't help in post product...

3) Mono. Yes. If you know the performance is only going to be one microphone, Mono is a good thing. Much more efficient and in the event you have to deliver a stereo show, you can make a stereo show with the same thing on both channels easily. 2) MP3 Never do original production in MP3. It's a compr...

Re: Is there any way to manually set the dB range in Audacit
The only way to split the difference between the performance and the background noise is to make the performer louder in real life. This is why live recording is such a stinging nettle. In extreme conditions the recordist can use a head-mounted microphone: http://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/PCHe...

Re: No "stereo mix" option using Turtle Beach Riviera
If you have a Mic-In on your laptop, you may be stuck with mono as well as overload and distortion. The loopback cable trick only works if you have a real Stereo Line-In.

Re: Spikes
You didn't actually say you got those ticks while you were recording your microphone. Did you? What kind? How is it connected to the computer? Is it a USB microphone? If there's enough mystery about what's happening, it's time to nail down exactly what you were doing.

Re: Saving Files
Is that really what you called the show? People get killed all the time by trying to slide dates into the filename. Today is not 4/25/13, it's 20130425. No slashes or other punctuation. You could have permission issues. Try Exporting or Saving to your desktop just to do it. Then Desktop > Go > Utili...

Re: Strange problem with mult-track recording
Did you bump the +/- volume control to the left of the track. That shows up in the speakers and green sound meter, but not the blue waves. Koz
