Did you set the skating control? If you do that right, the arm recovers from a skip to the place it's supposed to be. Very valuable on older recordings.

The "video" comes down as a really tiny file that QuickTime Player can't figure out. Get INFO says the file is 4KB. Koz

What does it sound like at the other end of the Skype call? Most times when you do this you're sending the caller back to himself and it creates echo problems. If the caller isn't on headphones, you can get some very entertaining feedback problems.
