Is your AUX Send pre-fade or post-fade? If it's pre, then that's how you prepare the headphone mix. If it's post, you're in the same boat I am.

Zoom into the work so you can accurately figure out which blue waves you want and which you don't. Drag-select the parts you don't and press the DEL key. You need both left and right from the mixer to the Mac because you're planning on putting the guest on one and presenter on the other. I know once you pass three forum chapters it's a little rough to remember it all.

Audacity > Preferences > Devices > Recording > Channels > 2-Channel (Stereo).
Make sure your audio cable plug is all the way in.
