Re: Editing one track of music out of a recording
I looked in Help and didn't see anything for fast forwarding. That's because Audacity doesn't have "scan" or "scrub" in either direction. You can skip around the show by clicking in the little ruler band above the tracks while you're playing. Playback will follow you. Spacebar w...

Re: My recording is really bad due to microphone being too h
You have no show. The distortion fixing tools are for someone who has one very brief distortion every three or four minutes, not a show that's 100% destroyed. We can't do that CSI trick where they take ratty surveillance footage and make it perfect. So the best we can do is make it does not happen a...

Music CDs will not carry 80 minutes. It's some number lower and we usually say plan on 78.The tracks are cut off all the way through the 80 min track

Re: Trouble in installing Gverb into Audacity on MAC. Please
What did the readme.txt say?
Freeverb.component should be the program and you can drag that into the Mac System according to the instructions. It appears there is no installer, so you have to do it manually.

I read that three times now and I can't build your system in my head. We need to do that to straighten out what you're doing.

Re: buzzing sound when recording
Details are good. We need to split the phrase "headset' from "headphones." Headphones don't have a microphone. This is a headset.

Re: Cannot record anything
The order has to be: Plug the USB device in and wait for Windows to Recognize it. Then launch Audacity and it should be possible to find the device in the recording drop-down next to the microphone symbol. If you do any of these out of order or try to rush the process, it may fail. http://manual.aud...

Re: Problem with Linestreamer +
Before you go off the deep end with this. How do you have everything connected? Do you have a conventional analog turntable plugged into this device? Turntable and Phono Preamp? What's going on upstream? It's possible the best place for your digitizer is EBay.
