I know this isn't going to help a lot, but Audacity launches the editor every time you export a clip. So export them one at a time instead a bunch. Koz

When you plug a recording USB device into Windows, chances are Windows will also try to play to the same device. This does not work well when the device is a microphone. You may have no choice. USB microphones tend to only work if Audacity is set for mono (unless you have a really odd microphone). The soundcard isn't used. No. We're stuck. That's why we tell people to send us pure clean sound in a sample clip when they want help with effects or filters. Once you have distortions like that you can't take them out.

The forum isn't good for product reviews particularly if you need actual hands-on experiences. The user base isn't that good and one of us has to stop answering Audacity questions and do product research for you.
