So you have very serious destructive activity on your Windows machine. When was the last time you did one of those virus scans where you can't use your computer for about a half-hour? A note as all these techniques fly by. You and probably the other drum people are miking the room as well as your instruments. Not so with the guitar folks. We have to get the obvious out of the way first. Nothing like loosing the hounds and alerting the papers for what turns out to be a dead simple problem. OK, so you're doing everything completely correctly. That is too bad. So much for low-hanging fruit. I don't know that I can come up with any other...

Control-F will contract the show left to right so the whole thing fits.

Control-E will zoom into the dragged selection and Control-3 will zoom out a little bit. I live in those three.

In general, you can't split a mixed performance into individual "instruments." In this case, you can get close because the two "instruments" are so far apart in "voicing," to abuse a lot of musical terms. Import the "music" track and Effect > Low Pass Filter: ...
