Re: Your ideal vocal-processing sequence
I have a travel story where I was forced to go to a book store cold and buy off-the rack headphones. I found out later they were very bass heavy and it's a good thing I wasn't doing anything critical.

Re: Your ideal vocal-processing sequence
Any experience/thoughts in this vein? I found myself with a box of multiple different headphones and one day I went through them all plugged into my Mac and graded them. Did I get it?

Re: H4N w/ Audacity help?
Is your Zoom set for stereo? I don't know what happens if you switch it to one of the Quad or Effects settings. Why did you set the Zoom to be the Speaker? What happens if you set your speakers to be the speaker and leave the Zoom as your "microphone?" You can look for the Zoom mounted in ...

Re: recording multiple tracks
Yes. If you have an existing track and you Append Record (Shift-R), a new track recording-right-now will be jammed onto the end of your old one. If all you did was press Record, you would get a new track recording-right-now underneath the existing one. If you File > Import a new track made somewhere...

Re: Your ideal vocal-processing sequence
The only ones I've found that get good reviews from audiophiles run at about half my monthly rent Yes, well I'm afraid that's the kind of thing that happens. It's not that the lower priced headphones are bad, it's just that they're under the thumb of the marketing and promotional people and are for...
