An m4a file will not open in Audacity unless a valid FFMpeg is found. If you drag the file out of iTunes and then try, does it open? It won't leave iTunes if it's a protected music file. In addition, I believe the reverb you're using is new with Audacity 2.0.4. The one before that was GVerb, so nobody's had any chances to deal with that yet. Koz
