Re: Command line functions or software integration
The problem with command-line operation is it needs to work on all three computer platforms, which means you need to resolve the forward and backward slash text differences and differences in file management, protected characters, etc. Just the fact that your post languished for as long as it did me...

Re: Help with equalizing audio
I still had the original curve.

Re: Help with equalizing audio
You can go a very long way by just suppressing the frequencies around 3KHz, the telephone frequencies. Try using the left hand dip on this pattern but return it to zero around 7KHz and flatten out the haystack bump on the right. http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=73970#p220158 St...

Here's a thing we wrote on Self Recording. http://manual.audacityteam.org/o/man/tutorial_recording_audio_playing_on_the_computer.html Self Recording is not a guaranteed service on computers (unless you bought it that way) and some computers just can't do it without adding software or hardware. It's ...

Re: solution for microphone sound distortion

All we know is you are using a Xenix analog sound mixer and an analog Blue Yeti microphone. I've done v...

Re: Electric effect
Audacity tools were created by multiple different people and some support preview and some don't. Remember this isn't a corporation.
You can do it the way I do it. Apply the tool and Edit > UNDO (Command-Z on my machine).

Re: Is there a broken soundwave repair plugin for Audacity?
Analyze > Silence Finder and Analyze > Sound Finder. I think one of those can do that. Snaps, pops and holes are almost always a sign that the computer isn't powerful enough to manage live audio. If you're recording internet audio, the computer has to do it twice, once from the internet and then onc...
