Re: no menu bar when I open application

I really need to get something recorded and exported tonight.
You should probably make other arrangements until we figure this out.

Apple (upper left) > About This Mac
Read the version number.

More Info > Hardware.
Read the model name.

The machine is days old, right?

Re: Choppiness and Skips appear at 6:45:47 in Long Recording

Re: Recording From a Live Stream

Some Windows machines don't directly support that, but see how you do with the instructions. These change depending on your machine.

Re: Recording 25 tracks from Media Player into one mp3 file

The down side of this process is you need to make darn sure the computer stays alive during the whole process and doesn't wander off.

"Windows is doing a System Update. Please Wait."
"Windows is entering Sleep Mode. Press the any key"

Re: Recording 25 tracks from Media Player into one mp3 file

Audacity can't Append-Import, where each time you import a new song it jams itself after the last one, all on one timeline. It's a Feature Request, not a current tool. If you have a lot of time, you can set up Audacity to record "What's Playing On The Computer" and then make Media Player p...

Re: Drum in Live Recording - how to reduce volume

It's difficult/almost impossible to split a mixed performance into individual instruments so to make one instrument louder or softer. The people who record a rock concert with nuclear bass notes or neighbor talking on his mobile have the same problem. You could try Effect > Compressor. That, as a fu...
