AUP is not a sound file. It's a text file that manages Audacity projects. Post a very high quality MP3 (250 stereo or higher) or a WAV file.

Re: Waveform is flat on top and bottom
I have some Electro-Dance tunes that look like the waveform display was spray painted solid Krylon blue. What does it sound like?

Re: Orphan Block File Long Audio NEED HELP!
You probably shouldn't assume the rest of us are YouTubers. Urban Dictionary thinks UHC is a "difficult company to work for."
What do you think "Breaking it Down" means?
I don't think you ever got to an actual problem. What's the problem?

Re: Agregate device as input not working in Audacity
I want to record Skype calls. Or a podcast with Skype in it. A far more challenging endeavor. Audacity records Skype fine when Soundflower is selected as the input. Both sides? I'm guessing no. I'm guessing it records the far side. What are you using as the Skype microphone? Skype takes over the no...

This is one of Bruno's takes. It's a raw capture. No corrections, effects or filters.

Re: Shure sm58 help
I'm sorry I'm giving you such a hard time by being such a difficult customer. No. You've been a model of cooperation and cheerfulness. Difficult customers are spare with information, oblique (crazy) and argumentative. You do, however have a difficult problem which is why I though it was worth spend...

Re: Unable to export mp3 files
That should have worked. Where did you save it? Audacity likes to default to saving files in awkward places. Try saving to the Desktop.

Re: Effects do nothing but delete sound
I got nothing. It always gives us a warm, fuzzy feeling when somebody with a question like this says they've restarted the machine. Try reinstalling Audacity and when you do, there will be a tick selector for a clean install where it goes through and resets all the normally ignored preferences and o...

Re: Vectorscope or equivalent
OK, here's an artist representation of a diagonal scope showing "footroom" problems. The negative swing of the waves have become damaged. I'm trying to remember where I saw that and I think it was a misbehaving multiplex radio transmission system. If you were clever with a regular scope yo...
