Re: Latest
Probably time to get down to nuts and bolts. What kind of microphone are you singing into and how is it connected to the computer? The "clean" song was overdubbing, right? First pass was the guitar with a computer microphone clipped to the cabinet... and then what? What are you singing int...

Re: Audacity will not record with new soundblaster card

Re: CD from computer will not export in multiples
I can't follow that. You have multiple songs on Audacity and you want to export them so they appear as separate files and then you want to make an Audio CD with the songs in the order you want? Audacity won't do that by itself. You have to use an Audio CD Authoring Program like Windows Media or iTun...

I'm more concerned with the analysis and listening we've been doing on your work that shows sound damage. If your straight, uncomplicated microphone can't pass this simple test, that's very serious. We're wasting our time until you can fix that.

Re: What is the best budget sandalone DAC to use with mic pr
$300 That's not budget. That's what people spend for everything including the microphone. Other things that are more important than the ADC - - The performance - Room Acoustics & soundproofing - The microphone And no shortage of people trying to fix all those things in software. As above, the c...

Re: Do You Need Pamela?
For the record, I don't think anybody has ever posted that they thought Pamela didn't work right or was a bad buy. We did have one post that had machine damage which was affecting everything and one or two postings complaining about the intentional shortcomings of the two lower Pamela licenses. From...

Re: What is the best budget sandalone DAC to use with mic pr
You said the magic word "Budget" and that's the Behringer UCA202 I use or any of the variations: UCA222 or UFO202. I own two or three and there are a bunch of them at work. It's not TRS, so you need to get an adapter cable. http://kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/RCAMiniStereo.jpg Here's one on...

Doesn't have to be Wall Street Journal. It can be the Dallas Morning News, Little Rock Daily Record or even USA-Today. Any newsprint.
