Re: Hum removal

Again to go briefly down the cancellation pathway, use a peak filter to isolate one of the evil frequencies, say 120Hz. The metaphor is do it to a copy of the show. Get the isolation so sharp that the sine wave is all that is left. Do it over time so chances of a musical performance at 120 Hz is ver...

Windows? The Windows Control Panels may have sliders that control volume of a USB device.

I think you can get there by right-clicking on the speaker icon on the lower right, but I'm no authority. You should wait for a Windows elf.

If you do get the Multi-Mix, post back and I'll give you starting-out settings and what some of the odder controls do.

Re: Shure sm58 help

It's possible the Arts unit does allow Overdubbing, but it's almost impossible to get the instructions to come right out and say so. The Arts unit has a number of other shortcomings (according to me), so my vote is still with the Multi-Mix. You would be looking for the right volume from your perform...

Re: Shure sm58 help

My vote is for the MultiMix4, but keep the receipts. I have no actual experience with it, but the ad shows it has all the requirements for a good, small USB mixer, and it's powered from the wall. Re: SHARING A PROJECT BETWEEN WINDOWS AND MAC MACHINES

It should be OK. I don't see any descriptors in the .AUP file that depend on the operating system. It's one of the reasons the _DATA folder and the .AUP file have to be in the same folder or directory. There's no provision for one to go looking for the other.

Playing it on a little plug-into-USB machine.
