I don't know any good way to do that. Even if there was a way, it would only work about half-way. Past half-way, the noise in the recording would be louder than the music.

Re: .aup file won't open (really important)
Did you separate or move the _DATA folder to a new location of folder? The _DATA folder and the .AUP file of the same name need to be in the same location or folder to open. The show is not just the .AUP file.

Re: Noise Cancellation
There is a very old trick that Electro-Voice used to use to demonstrate the superior quality of their microphones -- specifically that they all matched. Take two ordinary 635A, omnidirectional microphones... http://www.electrovoice.com/product.php?id=100 ...and tape them together so their heads touc...

Re: Noise Cancellation
Sounds are mechanical vibrations (usually) in the air. They produce tiny, quick high and low air pressures that the ear knows how to hear. This leads to the Hollywood dilemma of presenting a dramatic scene in space. No air and no sound. No sound and no music. No music and most theatrical scenes fall...

Re: Can anyone help
Yes, JPEG and MP3 have a lot of similarities. Audacity Project is the rough equivalent of Photoshop PSD format, which not only saves the graphic, but all the layers, graphic elements, draw elements, and text objects. WAV can be thought of as TIFF or TGA. Essentially loss-less, but not as talented as...

Re: Remove S sounds from speech
I’m listening through an old 5 point Theater system that’s hooked up to my mac mini. But since there’s one of the smaller speakers in front of me on my desk, I might be hearing more hi’s. We all heard it slightly crisp, so you should probably deal with that. Yes Kos I’m from Brooklyn. You hit it on...

Drag-Select a portion of your show and Control-E Zoom Into Selection.
Control-3 zooms out a little bit and Control-F zooms out full.

Re: Missing one of the stereo channels
Mic-In on a laptop is Mono, not stereo. The best you can do is get "Left" coming out of both speakers. Absent the ability to change one connection to Stereo Line-In (Windows Control Panels) or an actual Line-In (most unusual), you're probably stuck with buying one of the fine stereo USB so...
