Are you saying you have a multi-track recording with separate tracks for vocals, drums, etc.? Exactly. You should go through the performance (on good speakers) and set the individual volumes of the instruments and voices — manually — for a pleasant total mix. That mix is exactly the thing that will...

They're different tools. Everybody looks at the word "Normalize" and thinks it's going to make their show "Normal." It's just a variation on Amplify with a funny name. Normalize has the ability to change the volume of, for example, Left without affecting Right. Or affecting them ...

Could anyone help or direct me to a service or company that does this type of thing?
I don't know any companies that do this, but I would probably start with the companies that photograph weddings. They will almost certainly have run into video shoots that had sound problems.

That should work. It went from a clear voice to a clear voice you can't understand. I don't have anything like the expression of a pro announcer, so if one of those is available, the effect should be even more pronounced.

Try it on this clip. http://www.kozco.com/tech/LRMonoPhase4.wav This clip was designed for left-right stereo testing, but you can use the first two segments and mix them down to plain mono for application of the effect.
