Re: Audio sounds slight reverb/echo
My little cave looks a LOT like the second photo you posted And that's based on an actual commercial product. https://voiceoveressentials.com/product/porta-booth-plus spouse uses Discord to chat with her friends while playing games Restart. It's not unusual for chat programs to close but leave thei...

Re: Audio sounds slight reverb/echo
I've attached the file of the recording with no editing done to it. Thanks. That's perfect. Your post has suspiciously low noise. That can be a problem for people trying for entertainment quality recordings. Check into the Windows Sound Panels for "Sound Enhancements." Or Google. https://...

Re: Audacity sees Audiobox USB but won't record Studio One audio

Re: Constant Crashing
Do you have your dock with the installed and/or running programs at the bottom? Does it pop up when you get close or do you leave it open? My Mac has little black check marks under the running program some machines have lights (I don't have Catalina). What do yours look like and how many are there? ...
Re: Big Sur?
In my opinion, the OS isn't likely to be the problem. Machines are oozing toward being terminals rather than computers. Keyboard, Mouse and Monitor and everything else is "in the cloud." That's going to be a very serious problem because "in the cloud" isn't real time. No more ove...

Audacity doesn't open in Monitor. Click once in the recording sound meters to start monitoring. Also Right-Click > Start Monitoring.

Re: Another try at the latency test
Is that 77 keys? I had one of those before my current 88. I have a fantasy of firing them both up at once. I know someone who did that. He had a stacking arrangement like a large pipe organ. You have one of those sit-in-the-corner-with-strong-coffee problems. If you can't record your SSL, how did yo...
