I would probably select AIFF as an export type and then not put anything after the filename including the dot. Let Audacity put the .aiff on for you. AIFF is not an iTunes file. You don't have enough access or permission to change those files. You can probably first try the easy Permission Repair. Go > Utilities > Disk Utilities. Select your system drive and Verify Disk and then, when it's finished, Repair Permissions. Leave time. Either of those processes can take a while....

That's the Audacity Project Manager file. It works with the _DATA folder of the same name to construct your show. Don't lose that folder. When you recorded your show, were the two red recording meters all the way up? Restart Audacity and Generate > Noise: Pink, 0.5 level, any duration....

Wait. You're running a pitch sync tone the entire time you're singing? What happens when you sing a C-G-C-F-C progression or something like that when a specific segment of the song has no relationship with the tone?

Do you mean the Zoom tools? Do the manual ones work? Drag-select some small portion of a timeline and zoom into it with Command-E. Zoom back out with Command-F. Did that work?

Many Audacity tools, filters and effects stop working when you're in Pause instead of Stop.

I'd probably start by not posting a TIFF. If you do a screen capture (Command-Shift-3 or Command-Shift-4) it should give you a png picture file. Post that.
