Re: Equalize beat gapping of all over an mp3.

Not that I know of.

You got these songs from internet download, right? You didn't perform them? It sounds like whoever was doing rhythm was doing it live after a difficult night.

Re: Out of Sync over time?

This typically happens with Separate Sound. It's likely a hardware issue, but we know next to nothing about the hardware. Model numbers are good. Personal Video Recorder covers a lot of ground. What hardware captured the sound?

Re: higher/lower content volume separation

suppressing low sounds is easy. Effect > Noise Gate. It's designed to strip off quiet noises in performances. Higher is harder. I don't think there's a pre-baked effect for that — although Noise Gate may have an option. You understand it's not going to split a performance into just low or just high?...

I think QuickTime 7 Pro should be able to do that.

Re: LAME not found on latest version

The Audacity version and the Lame version need to match. Either work Audacity down or work Lame up.

Re: MP3 export garbled on iPhone speakers

You are kind of in the position of trying to describe "blue" as a text message to someone whose never seen it. Record the phone doing that. Record on the built-in microphone on your Mac and deselect [_] Ambient Noise Reduction in System Preferences. Post the sound capture here. Do two. One...

Re: How to sound younger (like a child)

I just can't find a solution anywhere else. There's a reason for that. Questions that start "Make me sound like..." are usually hopeless. Most of the time the best you can do is acting. Bart Simpson's voice is a woman acting like Bart Simpson. The Audacity pitch shifting tools are never a...

Re: .CAF audio file import error

FFMpeg appears to not support Core Audio Files.

If you have QuickTime Pro, it might let you convert in that. Some QuickTime versions didn't matter whether you had Pro or not and it would work.
