Wouldn't it be a logical assumption that anyone struggling to keep the mounted drive around may be trying to run Audacity from it instead of installing Audacity for real?

Re: Blank spots recording Skype
And yes, the skipping problem is very probably a computer resource issue. When you record like that, the computer has to deal with Skype, Computer Record, Computer Playback (all in real time) plus Audacity and all of its services. Skype tends to be vicious when it's running, so it's not shocking tha...

Re: how to uninstall
I see what happened. Yes, the system will not let me destroy the .dmg as long as the mounted drive is still alive. Traditionally, you trash the mounted drive as soon as you're finished using it. I guess there aren't enough old Mac users around. It's been that way for decades. Even when I was a Windo...

Re: how to uninstall
You mean ejecting the mounted drive. The .dmg was never mounted. It's just a fancy file.you cannot remove it from the Trash without ejecting the DMG or rebooting.
I don't know. I didn't try that.

He posted to us about some trivial sound problem and I suggested to him that most people would kill to be able to do what he's doi...

Re: how to uninstall
Nope. Exactly the same thing in 10.9.3. So technically, no, you can't trash it, but you can totally Eject it which makes it vanish since it wasn't real to begin with.

Re: how to uninstall
I do everything from that one desktop. This is what it looks like when I copy the 2.0.5 .dmg file from storage to the desktop (I think I got it originally from the ZIP download). I double click it and it expands to a mounted drive and presents its graphic directory (attached). The .dmg file allows m...

P.S. Why don't the list tags work for me? Did you offend them in some way? You may be perfectly well behaved in the forum postings, but I drop in and out and the messaging doesn't always come from you. I expect your submissions are going to work. We're all on the edges of our seats — although I'm g...

Re: Declicking without Interpolating
How would you do it manually? Sometimes doing one manually and counting the steps can tell you how to automate the process.
