Re: How to increase input level - uca 202
Probably not. Behringer is pretty good about delivering quality equipment at a good price. Our recommendations almost always have price right up there at the top of the decision tree because all our posters seem to be destitute and money-free. This certainly isn't the only way to connect stereo Line...

Re: cannot truncate project
I can't quite follow that, but the total show length should stay that of the longest segment. You can select a portion of the show and Export Selected > WAV. You can also select and delete everything longer than 45 seconds. Unless you stop it, Audacity will smash together all the active tracks into ...

Re: Audio Clean Up
Post a little bit of it on the forum so we know what we're dealing with. The instructions send you straight to WAV format, but that's only seconds of work. Use high quality MP3 instead. Pick a quality higher than 128 (Audacity default). http://forum.audacityteam.org/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=72887 Al...

Re: Audacity is limiting my volume?
Any time you get the urge to gloss over details, resist that urge. You're plugged into whose preamp and connected via 1/8" sound cable similar to this: http://www.kozco.com/tech/audacity/pix/stereoJumper.jpg ...to the Mic-In of your laptop computer made by? We have to build your system in our h...

If you change to another personal audio recorder, do post back and tell us how it went. Part numbers, ease of use, etc.

Re: How can I record using 2 mics?
That seems to solve a lot of the recording and routing issues — on Windows. I wonder how they got around the sync issue. You can't resample the microphones without headphone monitoring delay issues and if you don't do something, the two (or more) sources will slowly drift out of time, such as in thi...

You can have Skype installed, you just can't leave it running. Skype is pretty vicious about the way it manages sound services.

Most hardware stays put, so as long as you don't change anything serious, the error should be constant.

Re: Noise from headphone cable
The poster was going through such gymnastics, I would have thought they would have tried that. Also, that works a lot better with "Y" headphone cables than it does with single sided cables, and we don't know what they have.
