Re: Advice - Blue Yeti Buzz/Humm
Hiss is a real problem although in moderate amounts it can suppressed, sometimes enough to make the performance pass. Please note that I'm using all soft and gooshy words. The worst thing about Noise Removal is its name. That suggests it's possible to Remove Noise with the tool. It's not. A much mor...

Re: Mic setup static
You'll have to use a lot more English words.

Re: Can I Mark audio while recording?
If you trust your typing, I believe you don't have to do that. You can type blind and the Enter key will set the label wherever it is.

That and they're hearing a lot more of that than we are. You can use Effect > Equalization to kill all the high pitch parts of the clip. Make a number of different versions with increasingly sharp and crisp sound. Use all unique filenames and never damage the original sound. Attached Illustration. Koz

Re: Is there a button i can press to start recording
You should be able to start Audacity recording with the "R" key. But that assumes the program has focus and nobody else is using that key for anything else.
You can change the key.
Audacity > Edit > Preferences > Keyboard.

Re: Advice - Blue Yeti Buzz/Humm
I was just rolling up my sleeves for the buzz/whine lecture when it turns out that's normal microphone background hiss. It's a little on the high side in your case, but it's perfectly normal. If you do speak, do you sound normal except for the ocean behind you? Does this clip sound like gentle rain ...

Re: Error message saying Project Data Folder can't be found
The AUP file is not sound. It's a list of instructions of how Audacity should manage all the stuff inside the _DATA folder with the same name. They sent the plastic menu without the actual roast beef. When the _DATA folder arrives, make sure it's in the same directory or folder as the AUP file and d...

Re: Urgent need for an answer please
You were able to play the show while it was in Audacity and after you applied the corrections, right? Then, no matter how you Exported it, the sound was damaged? That's where you sailed into Never-Never-Land. Anybody can create an MP3 that sounds funny. MP3 has tuners and adjustments and it's easy t...

Re: Can I Mark audio while recording?
You can put a label anywhere in the performance you want in real time. This isn't the metadata panel at the end of the show. This is a separate track that marks points during the show.
